As a result of its close proximity to Manhattan, Rachel Carson I.S. 237 Magnet School for the Arts has access to some of the most prestigious arts institutions in the world. The school has teamed up with a number of prominent museums, Broadway theater companies, and arts organizations.
Together they have created partnerships that support arts education and provide resources to the entire school community. Through our Arts Partnership Programs, students have the unique opportunity to work with a wide range of professional artists, musicians, actors, directors, filmmakers, photographers, graphic designers, and more. These partnerships provide students with hands-on training, provide teachers with professional development, and provide the entire school with the opportunity to attend Broadway shows, museums, concerts, dance performances, and other cultural events. |
